A hobby of mine is putting on an album and jamming out to it. First track off of Street Songs had me grooving way too hard and I couldn't stop playing that bass line on my 8 string. Everything was going really well until I hit the vocal melody. There's so much space in there and to just hang out with the guitar was so challenging. Learning and recording the horn parts was probably the most satisfying part of this project. I didn't capture them perfectly but between all the projects going on while recording this, I couldn't spend more than the couple days I took off to do this.
